Word-like Editor
Sitefinity's Word-like text editor allows you to easily edit content without any HTML knowledge. Here are just some of the things you can do using RadEditor :
Edit text, format font color and size, set indentation and alignment

Drag’n’Drop Page Modeling
With simple drag-and-drop you can rearrange the different page elements without the need for complex menu dialogs and settings. The system provides hints on where an element can be placed, as well as what’s editable and what’s not.  
Effortless Content Reuse
Sitefinity makes the reuse of content very simple. You can create a piece of content and display it on multiple pages. For example, you may want your ‘News’ to appear on 15 different pages on the site. In Sitefinity you won’t need to create the content and add it to each of the 15 pages, instead you can save it only once and then reuse it. And if you decide to make any changes to the shared content item (like editing the title or extending a news item with more details), they will be applied on all 15 pages simultaneously. This makes content updates extremely fast and easy.
Videos, Images and Documents
Content editors no longer need assistance from the IT department to place banners and videos on the website. Uploading images and documents is as easy as saving them to the desktop. Video content can be quickly uploaded to Sitefinity CMS and played through the integrated video player. Also, thanks to the Sitefinity image wizard you can control how the image galleries will be displayed on the pages.
Search
Sitefinity offers an advanced search service that allows you to quickly and easily find information managed by the CMS. The search indexes allow you to define which parts of the site are being searched and how the search results are displayed. Additionally, by using the search content authors can instantly find where certain keywords are used on the website and quickly and efficiently update content.
Upload of Multiple Items and Zip Archives
The Sitefinity Document and Images module allows users to make batch uploads and upload many images and files at once to save time. In addition to this, Images & Documents module support upload of zip files which can contain hundreds of images and will be unzipped automatically by Sitefinity, once uploaded.

Workflow
Do you have multiple authors and editors who contribute content simultaneously? Not a problem. By defining a workflow process you can make sure content will be properly reviewed and approved before going live. A powerful workflow system guarantees the quality of the published content, ensures accountability, and facilitates the cooperation between your editors. Workflow can be enforced on content or page level and can be easily turned off when you decide you no longer need it.
Granular Rights for Users
Often you want to set different privileges for different departments or individuals to access and edit content items on your site. For example, you may want the HR department to be able to edit the ‘About Us’ section only, or you may decide to allow only the Brand Managers to edit the product catalogue, and limit the rights of the Assistant Brand Managers. Sitefinity provides you with the freedom to set permissions for each separate page or module (blogs, forums, polls, etc.), thus preventing users from viewing and editing content which they are not authorized to access.
Versioning and Rollback
Content modifications are never lost thanks to the versioning functionality of Sitefinity. When editors modify content, copies of the text are created in the Database. Even if they get the page all wrong, Sitefinity will allow them to safely and effortlessly go back to the previous version of the page. The discarded changes will not be lost, because all the latest modifications will be saved as a draft and can be easily reused.
Brand Consistency Across the Site
By separating content from layout, Sitefinity can help you enforce brand consistency throughout your website. You have complete control over how pages look. When creating or modifying a page, the content editors will be able to choose only between the templates and themes that you have decided to make available to them, thus always ensuring design consistency across the site.
Templates
A template determines the layout of your webpage and the way content elements are organized. With Sitefinity we offer a set of ready-to-use website templates to help you set up your site quickly, but you can also create your own templates.

Additionally, templates allow you to easily make changes across different pages, and even across the whole site. You can apply changes to a group of pages which are using the same template by simply editing the template. For example, if you want to update your company logo which is displayed on 1000 pages, you’ll only need to edit the template, instead of going through each individual page.
Themes
Themes allow you to change the presentation of a page. For example, by changing a theme you could make the navigation menu skin turn from red to blue. Or you can change the font type and size on one or more pages.

In Sitefinity you won't need to create separate pages for each language as all of the language versions will be associated with the same page. Additionally, when creating content in different languages you can take advantage of the inline spell-checker which has more than 10 built in language dictionaries and the option to add custom ones.

XHTML and WAI Compliance
Sitefinity produces XHTML compliant code. Also, the inbuilt RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX outputs XHTML-compliant content across all major browsers. It also provides real-time XHTML validation by sending HTML content for validation to the W3C service, and returning a compliancy report right within the editor interface.

The integrated validation module is also available as a validation dialog. The built-in WYSIWYG editor complies with W3C WAI-A and Section 508.
NTLM and LDAP Authentication
There are several known forms of authentication, supported out-of-the-box in Sitefinity. The most commonly used ones are: Windows authentication and Forms authentication. Sitefinity offers NTLM authentication (this is a Microsoft Authentication Protocol) and LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) based authentication.
