Spinbox have been incredibly busy lately working on a Sitefinity migration and re-skin of the European Defence Agency website.

Working in conjunction with GOPA Cartermill, a Belgium based communication agency, Spinbox have re-designed content pages providing a newer, more modern look and feel and developed custom modules and extended Sitefinity 5 to suit the EDA’s unique requirements.

Although all of the development was completed here in the UK, developers from the Spinbox team have crossed the channel to carry out a deployment at the EDA headquarters in Brussels!

Although there’s plenty more work to be done, Spinbox are proud with what has been achieved in a relatively small time frame which is testament to the capabilities of our super development and design team!

The most complex part of this development was handling the migration of large amounts of content from Sitefinity 3.7 to Sitefinity 5.  Migration scripts had to be written to ensure the content transferred correctly with as little structural change as possible.
